Two Solar freezers for Udu Fishermen in Udu, Totoya, Lau
Solar Fiji (first Ministry of Fisheries job) supplied and installed 2 x 1620Wp solar freezers to the village fishermen of Udu, Totoya in Lau, Fiji Island.
This system can power items such as a large deep freezer, TV, computers, lights, fans, mobile phone and other appliances.
Each of the two Solar Freezer systems utilises the following high quality equipment like:
- 6 x 270W Canadian Solar Panel
- 1 x Victron Easysolar 24/1600W
- 8 X 12V 100Ah Narada high temperature battery
- 1 x Victron Battery Monitor BMV 700
- 1 x 818L Freezer
